"Ba" is a word in TAGALOG, ILOKANO, HILIGAYNON, ENGLISH, CEBUANO
interj. an exclamation used 1. to startle people, or 2. to make a child laugh by pretending to startle him. In sense 2, it follows the exclamation IT.
ba - Placed in the beginning of a sentence
or alone as an exclamation "ba” with a
rather long drawn-out "a”, denotes a
negation, non-conformity, aversion,
