"Magnetite" is a word in ENGLISH
An oxide of iron (Fe3O4) occurring in isometric
crystals, also massive, of a black color and metallic luster. It is
readily attracted by a magnet and sometimes possesses polarity, being
then called loadstone. It is an important iron ore. Called also
magnetic iron.
How can a man’s candour be seen in all its lustre unless he has a few failings to talk of? But he had an agreeable confidence that his faults were all of a generous kind—impetuous, arm-blooded, leonine; never crawling, crafty, reptilian.
