"Zoogloea" is a word in ENGLISH
A colony or mass of bacteria imbedded in a viscous
gelatinous substance. The zoogloea is characteristic of a transitory
stage through which rapidly multiplying bacteria pass in the course of
their evolution. Also used adjectively.
