An offer of money; the act b.v which one produces and offers to a person holding a claim or demand against him the amount of money which he considers and ad-mits to be due, in satisfaction of such claim or demand, without any stipulation or con-dition. or of the amount of a note, with interest.

Apt to give pain; causing grief or pain; delicate; as,
a tender subject.

Sensible to impression and pain; easily pained.

To offer in payment or satisfaction of a demand, in
order to save a penalty or forfeiture; as, to tender the amount of rent
or debt.

Susceptible of the softer passions, as love,

Any offer or proposal made for acceptance; as, a tender of
a loan, of service, or of friendship; a tender of a bid for a contract.

Exciting kind concern; dear; precious.

Unwilling to cause pain; gentle; mild.

Regard; care; kind concern.

One who tends; one who takes care of any person or thing; a
nurse.

Careful to save inviolate, or not to injure; -- with
