"Surface" is a word in ENGLISH

one of the limits that bound a solid, esp. the upper face; superficies;
the outside; as, the surface of the earth; the surface of a diamond;
the surface of the body.
Hence, outward or external appearance.

That part of the side which is terminated by the flank
prolonged, and the angle of the nearest bastion.
To give a surface to; especially, to cause to have a
smooth or plain surface; to make smooth or plain.
A magnitude that has length and breadth without thickness;
superficies; as, a plane surface; a spherical surface.
Given our abundance, the burden of proof should always be on keeping, not giving. Why would you not give? We err by beginning with the assumption that we should keep or spend the money God entrusts to us. Giving should be the default choice. Unless there is a compelling reason to spend it or keep it, we should give it.
