within one’s breast, cherish, nurse, nurture
some secret sorrow or pain, to hide sorrow
or pain. Nagapúg-ok ang dúghan níya.
His chest is tight, he can scarcely breathe.

púgon – púlhan
Ginpapúg-ok (Ginpúg-ok) níya ang amó
nga kasubô sa íya nga dúghan. He locked
that sorrow in his heart (breast). (cf. pín-ot,
gutúk, pún-ud).
