festering, infection, sepsis; to fester,
suppurate, mortify, gangrene, gather pus or
matter, rankle; to throb, pulsate, palpitate
(of ulcers and boils). Nagamatitík ang íya
hubág. His ulcer suppurates or gathers pus.
Nagmatitík ang nánà sa sulúd sang pilás
sa pagpangítà sing lútsan pa gwâ. The
pus inside the wound began to throb
seeking an outlet. (cf. pitík, patík).
It has been more wittily than charitably said that hell is paved with good intentions. They have their place in heaven also.
