"Dap-Ig" is a word in HILIGAYNON, CEBUANO
dáp-ig - Oppression, vexation, distress; to
compress, oppress, vex, pinch. (cf. dapíig,
dapíog, dapíol; ipít, ipíip, lígpit).
dap-ig = dip-ig.
