Definition:

bókod - (B) To take up—, grasp—, with
one’s fingers, to eat with one’s fingers. Ang
kán-on ginabókod. Rice is eaten with the
fingers. Ang mga Amerikáno índì
makakibaló magbókod. The Americans do
not know how to eat with their fingers.
Ibókod lang ang kán-on, kay walâ kitá
sing kutsára. Simply eat the rice with your
fingers, as we have no spoons. (cf. húngit,
hamál, dapá, timó).
