"Beatitude" is a word in ENGLISH
Beatification.
Any one of the nine declarations (called the
Beatitudes), made in the Sermon on the Mount (Matt. v. 3-12), with
regard to the blessedness of those who are distinguished by certain
specified virtues.
Felicity of the highest kind; consummate bliss.
One of the hardest-to-swallow, most countercultural, counter intuitive implications of the gospel is that bearing up under a difficult burden with patient perseverance is a good thing.

A college student in a philosophy class was taking his first examination. On the paper there was a single line which simply said: "Is this a question?" - Discuss. After a short time he wrote: "If that is a question, then this is an answer." The student received an "A" on the exam.
