"Agistor" is a word in ENGLISH
Formerly, an officer of the king's forest, who had the
care of cattle agisted, and collected the money for the same; -- hence
called gisttaker, which in England is corrupted into guest-taker.
Now, one who agists or takes in cattle to pasture at a
certain rate; a pasturer.
I know not what quintessence of all this mixture, which, seizing my whole will, carried it to plunge and lose itself in his, and that having seized his whole will, brought it back with equal concurrence and appetite to plunge and lose itself in mine.
